Coach Kareem started playing football since he was 5 years old in his home town in Egypt and kept playing for his local club till he was 16 years old.

After finishing his degree, he started pursuing his dream of becoming a football coach and got FA level 2 qualification to start coaching part-time in academies in Dubai and then Cairo for some time.

He was appointed as an academy coach for Just Play academy in June 2017 and was responsible for coaching the development squads for U10 & U12 age groups. In the following season, Kareem was asked to design the sessions plan for the academy for kids starting at 18 months till 12 years old and also organize the Just Play league for development squads which had over 300 kids participating from 13 different academies.

Aside from Just Play academy, Kareem worked as the assistant coach for RIT university men team and was assigned to improve individual performance and work with defenders. A big part of the coach's philosophy is about getting the young players to improve their decision making on the pitch as he believes that it makes a massive difference in their game.
