Coach Fabian Uquillas is from San Pedro del Rio in Venezuela. He has been coaching for 25 years now at all different levels of football, including developmental, club, high school, college (NCAA, USA) and Professional level at 1st and 2nd Divisions in the Venezuelan Professional Football League.

Coach Fabian holds a bachelor’s degree in Science of Education (Physical Ed / Exercise Phys) and a Master’s Degree in Education - Middle and Secondary Instruction from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, USA.

In football, he holds a USSF (United States Soccer Federation) A and B Licenses besides holding the Advanced National Diploma from the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America).

Coaching experience:
• From 1997 to 98 he was the Head Strength/Conditioning and Assistant Coach for Deportivo Tachira FC (Venezuelan 1st Division)
• From 1999 to 2006, he was Assistant and Strength/Conditioning Coach & Consultant for Gannon University, Edinboro University, Mercyhurst College and Franklin Pierce College at Division II NCAA Soccer, USA)
• In 2012/13 season, he was the Head Football Coach for Loteria del Tachira FC in the 2nd Division of the Venezuelan Professional Football League

He also possesses great experience in Sports Management as he served as the Venezuelan National Director of Youth Development in Sports from 2007 - 2008 and as President of the Venezuela’s Tachira State Sports Institute from 2012 to 2017.

Part of Fabian’s ambitions are to bring his experience and know-how adding to the development and the success of TFA and he is committed to helping UAE’s soccer youth development through his coaching at The Football Academy in Dubai.
