Sohail started his first coaching experience in 1998 in Stockholm while still playing in goal for Essinge International FC senior team in the Swedish 2 division. The following year he was appointed as the clubs goalkeeper coach to develop the foundation levels and moved up the ranks to train the senior team goalkeepers after hanging his gloves. He continued developing the goalkeeper department at Essinge International until 2005 as well as assisted the junior team that won the Swedish Championship in 2000.

After moving to Italy in 2006 he started working with Football Club Garbatella in Rome, developing foundation level goalkeepers as well as assisting the development level goalkeeper department head, learning the Italian methodology in goalkeeping.

The journey took coach Sohail to United Arab Emirates in 2009 and his experience helped varies academies build a solid goalkeeper department for grassroots and development levels i.e. Arsenal Soccer School, Alliance Football Club and Juventus Academy Dubai.

Based in Dubai he continues to drive his passion for goalkeeping in partnership with TFA and as Pedari Coaching Modern Goalkeeper Academy, using innovative and modern approach to this art while continuously attending global conferences, workshops and webinars i.e. International Goalkeeper Coaches Conference in Florida, USA, GK Nexus Goalkeeper Clinic in Glasgow, Scotland, Goalkeeping Development, Germany.

Education: Masters in International Sales.
