The Football Academy was formed to provide opportunities for young soccer players to train and compete in Dubai and internationally. TFA provides the most comprehensive football coaching in UAE through its team of professional SFA & UEFA qualified soccer coaches.
Our mission is to develop soccer skills, as well as maintain an environment that embodies the core values of integrity, leadership, perseverance, respect, and teamwork while enhancing self-esteem, promoting self-confidence, and cultivating a lifelong passion for the beautiful game of soccer.
While our teams strive to compete at the highest levels of competition, The Football Academy is fully committed to player development. We believe that a commitment to player development establishes a solid technical and mental foundation upon which to continue building at TFA and beyond.
We intend to accomplish the mission with an experienced coaching staff that represents the most effective and comprehensive club soccer program in Dubai.
Our Curriculum is built around the 4 cornerstones of football:
Technique, Tactics, Physical and Mental abilities.
Each of these elements helps children’s overall development and soccer skills but most importantly their ability to approach situations from a new angle – look for different solutions.
Football is a physically demanding game that offers players the opportunity to improve their speed, agility, strength, hand-to-eye coordination, and overall cardiovascular endurance. We understand that beyond the thrill of playing matches, playing the game can help children develop social skills, and new friendships as well as improve their self-confidence & self-esteem and learn respect, teamwork, loyalty, discipline, and hard work.
In addition to the sessions on and off the pitch we provide our student soccer webinars to help players in their understanding of game tactics: defending, attack and ball possession are only a few of the topics we cover.
Football often comes down to the strategy that a team employs at the end of a close game. We examine and teach team tactics, preparedness, and the organizational skills needed to play effective football. Utilizing UEFA designed 8 V 8 sessions, we deliver 90-minute sessions training our players in tactical principles of pressing, transition, counter-attack, and fluid movement.
When not in the gym or on the training field young players need to be able to recover from the effort and avoid injuries. A healthy body is a healthy athlete which is why one of our priorities is to inform and educate the importance of Nutrition. Adopting a healthy lifestyle is a key element of our more educational approach to football and we want to ensure all our players have a clear understanding of the “good” and “bad” in food.
