UEFA is the Union of European Football Associations, the governing body of European football. It is the organization for 55 national football associations across Europe. It’s objectives are to promote football in a spirit of unity, understanding and fair play. No discrimination in any part are accepted by UEFA. The UEFA also supports and safeguards it’s member associations for the over all well being of the European game. It’s headquarters is located in Nyon, Switzerland and it is a continental confederation recognized by the world football governing body FIFA, which is based on Zurich.
The UEFA education is done through its own Academy. Building on the professional excellence UEFA has developed throughout its history and the learning initiatives created over the years. The UEFA Academy seeks to inspire the education of individuals and organizations to keep on developing the game of football.
The UEFA Academy over 1 network has had more than 2000 graduates, 56 learning initiatives each year, graduates from over 150 nationalities, 48 countries visited by the program and 2000 documents available on their online platform.
The courses provided by The UEFA Academy range from management programs, programs for specialists, programs for players, knowledge sharing and research. The UEFA Academy offers certificates, Diplomas, Masters and Doctorate in multiple programs. In addition to those course mentioned, they have the UEFA Licenses and diplomas.
The UEFA education is eligible for anyone who is 16+ years old. It is for candidates who wants to learn how to teach and become a football coach and Ex-Pro players who wish to continue their careers in football. The UEFA education offers a wide variety of courses that suit all candidates and guides them to a pathway of learning, experience and developments. On top of the coaching Pathway, the UEFA Academy provides other courses for candidates who wish to go beyond coaching and earn Diplomas, Masters and Doctorates in Management, football laws, etc.
