COACH FOUAD

Head of TFA Academy

I have some large shoes to fill! I have always been inspired by Coach Ali’s vision for each player and hope to continue with the same zeal.  TFA started 6 years ago with 20 players and today we are a full academy program from 3 to 20 yrs old with more than 200 players, we hope to see the same acceleration in the future as well.

In my decade-long experience in France, where I received my Licence A UEFA, I learned the highest culture of players’ development and the last decade in Dubai showed me how to elevate the raw talent to the highest level of the game. I am excited to take on this new challenge and lead players and coaches to become better individuals On and Off the pitch.

I will continue to focus on growth where each day is better than yesterday – for TFA, coaches, and most importantly players of all ages and teams.  The mission is to focus on the long-term development of each player to ensure they are armed with the necessary psychological, technical, tactical, and physical skills set to thrive in any environment. Our values will make us focus on developing the character of the player and promote life lessons through the sport in order for them to develop the following skills:
– Respect
– Leadership
– Communication
– Time management
– Problem solving & decision-making
– Teamwork

Fouad has been coaching since the age of 15 and has gathered over 10 years of experience in coaching in France. By the age of 21, he was working with U18s and coached football to over 19s by 24 when he obtained a Level B certificate by the French FA and obtained a BA degree in Sports science and a MA with specialty – “Psychological Preparation of the athlete” which combined with his practical experience gave Fouad an edge with regards to understanding and shaping the overall development of young players.

In 2014 Fouad moved to Dubai where he started as a Coach, swiftly evolving to become a Head Coach and finally Academy Manager. During this period he had the chance to coach a wide range of age groups – from 3 to 18 years and was overviewing the Goalkeeping Program at the Academy.
