RICARDO PANTON

Ricardo Panton has played football at both semi-professional and professional youth academy levels in London.

Although he has been coaching since the age of 15, at 26 he decided to solely focus on his coaching career and he acquired professional academy coaching experience at AFC Wimbledon and Norwich FC.

​

Since then, Ricardo has gained his FA UEFA B qualification and is currently enrolled in the UEFA A (Welsh FA), due to be completed in 2024. In addition to coaching, Ricardo is a fully qualified secondary school PE teacher and is currently teaching in a school in northern Abu Dhabi.

Ricardo has the natural expertise to enthusiastically motivate and guide football players to create a positive team culture. His insight into child development both on and off the pitch will further enhance TFA’s mission of providing a 360 skill enhancement to each player.

While at TFA, Ricardo aims to create a competitive environment where players are always being supported and encouraged to enhance their game and continue to pursue their future in Football. He focused on coaching with a growth mindset and aims to contribute to the TFA environment where players learn life skills that make them better players and better people.

​

After 18 months with TFA coach Ricardo will now focus on senior-level football with the U19s, preparing them for college-level and professional football. He has been the support system for many players pursuing various pathways and his contagious enthusiasm has become a signature for the entire team.
